Four Seed Carob Balls
I have many versions of little balls in my repertoire. Usually they involve bits and pieces that need using up but sometimes its because I want something that feels a little "naughty".

Welcome
Hey There, I’m Sherilyn the creator of Wholepromise. This is where I venture outside of being a mum, wife and Fertility Nurse Specialist. I live on the Sunshine Coast in Qld, Australia and am spoilt by year round access to Farmers Markets offering a plethora of local, seasonal and organic produce. In all Wholepromise is my style of food, it’s the food I want my boys to appreciate and it’s the food that makes me happy. Styling and photographing it is just another bonus.

Sherilyn, this is just what I've been looking for. We've recently learned that my fiance is hypoglycemic, so we're trying to be mindful of cutting down on the (already quite low) refined sugars in our diet. But, we still need sweet bites every now and again. These should do just the trick :)
ReplyDeleteDates work magic in recipes like these, and I love the no-bake aspect!
ReplyDeleteYummy! which version do you prefer, with cocoa or carob powder?
ReplyDeleteI so love carob, and have a big pack of organic powder in my pantry. I guess I'll just have to make these! Yummo :)
ReplyDeleteI love using little bits of nuts and seeds, combined with dates or honey, and raw cacao powder to make energy balls. Sometimes I even throw in some spirulina, maca or goji berries to up the nutritional benefits. I'm Going to try this recipe for sure!
